Men's Shifty BOA® Snowboard Boots

The BOA system broke the third day on the mountain. Cheap bull-caca.

So far I went to the mountain two times my local mountain called Mountain High these boots the boas are already popping out and I need to constantly dial them in after every run and I've only been two times they feel like they're cheap Chinese made and I feel like I got ripped off and I already need to go buy new boots it really sucks because I am not rich and can't really afford to do that so now I have to ride this whole season with uncomfortable boots that hardly fit me right because at first they felt good until they broke in now I need a 10.5 instead of an 11 At first I felt good thought they were great then my second day towards the end I realized man I spent a lot of money on these boots just to have to keep doing this they freaking suck and I would not waste my money on these I wish this company would do something about it it's not like they're cheap or anything it's a good amount of money to be spent on some horrible boots that just are worthless I got them from zumies but its this company who makes the boots

I just got these boots and have literally used them two times all day on the mountain, and I'm already so disappointed. I'm not rich either; I'm literally heartbroken at how horrible the quality of these boots is, and I'm stuck with them now. At first, they felt good and seemed like they would be solid. Then they broke in, and I need a 10.5 now; an 11 was too big. On top of that, everyone boasts how good ThirtyTwo is. Well, my boots already need to be checked every run, with the Boa popping out, and I haven't done anything—no falling, no abuse to them whatsoever. In my opinion, these are cheap Chinese boots. This company straight up robbed me of my money, and unfortunately, I'm going to have a bad season unless I spend $300 on boots again. FML.

Super comfortable with a soft, forgiving flex. I wore them all day chasing around my son, yet they still provided solid stability and support when carving turns. Comfortable enough for casual riding, but dependable when you need control.

Excellent starter boot if you are just getting in to building your gear list, but be aware these are for sure a barebones boot. The tongue of the liner is definitely “shifty” as the name implies and I find it rotating around my ankle after 1 or two runs, and constantly have to adjust this to curb discomfort throughout the day. Even being an entry level pair, thirtytwo can definitely add some Velcro to curb this issue within the liner as they do with other pairs. After about 7 runs, the feet are achey and its time for the lodge to give the dogs a rest. Definitely going to find a new pair this year so I can last more time on the mountain

even for the bottom of the line boot this aint worth a dime. i wish i could say you get what u pay for but this is much worse

I would actually like to review Thirty-Two’s customer service. One word, phenomenal! I ordered these boots for Christmas for my son and all was going well, out for delivery on 12/17. Then, no delivery and it sat it that status for days leading up until Christmas. The shipping company could not find the boots.

I contacted customer service via email, and although it took a few days to get back to me - understandably during Christmas, they went above and beyond and overnighted a replacement pair that arrived on Christmas Eve! Saving the day!

Interestingly, the original boots ended up being delivered back to their warehouse. So, it ended up being a win for all parties.

Thank you Thirty-Two! I know it’s crazy during the holidays but a company’s response during these busy times can make or break future customers. You all now have a new customer!

Good quality and very comfortable boots. I am a US 9.5 MEN size and bought a size 10 and fits perfectly.

The boot is a little greener in person but all in all seems pretty sturdy. Added note I’m still pretty new to snowboarding so there’s that.

Just got back from the first trip of the season and these are the best boots ever

Boots fit a lot small to the size of my normal shoe but like the weight and feel of them!

I have had a lot of thirty two boots and loved them. But these are trash. The line tongue shifts and causes pressure points on my ankles and makes them so painful. I have to adjust my boots after 1-2 runs. Everyone else seems to love these boots so maybe mine are defective? I am considering sewing in velcro to hold everything in place. I would return them but I wore them and cant return them. Feels like I threw away $200

The boots run a little snug, just on the toes.
Heat treating them got them a little closer to true size, but even after a month of wearing them (daily, I work on the mountain), they’re still a little tight. Suppose I should’ve went a size up.
The boa system itself is fantastic, although the right foot sticks a little, it’s not a concern and doesn’t affect how well they work.
The inner laces lag a bit toward full tightness.
Boots are super warm though and all the minor issues don’t outweigh the benefits, which match the price.

4 rides in and the boots are doing great. Easy in, easy out. Comfortable. Only issue I'm having so far is the tongue of the liners keep slipping to the sides. That is the only issue so far and why I gave them 4 stars. I would figure that dropping $280 on boots would have a velcro hook or something to prevent this from happening. Going to fix the issue myself but like a said, pricey boot to have this happening. Other than that, great boot.

Great fit, I wear a 14 so boot fits are dicey to say the least. These fit great out of the box, I didn't need to heat them up. For a softer boot they are very responsive. Very warm, very comfortable, and the Boa system is great. I went Thirty Two on boots, pants, jacket, and first layer and am very stoked on all of it. That being said, the Boa **** bites into my leg every once in a while. It's easily fixed and I am very happy with my purchase.

I have just come back from a holiday in levi finland where i was snowboarding i rented a pair of these from a shop and they were the comfiest boots ive ever used very lightweight and just a perfect fit, i even tried to buy the ones i rented from the shop but they wouldn't let me so i bought brand new ones and am i glad i did they delivered them really quickly to uk and the price was fantastic would 100% buy another pair from them

I recently started snowboarding, as all of my friends are very active in the sport, and they recommended ThirtyTwo as one of the best brands for quality.. I can safely say that I am incredibly satisfied!! I’ve been boarding 5 times last month and, after breaking the boots in, they’re even more amazing! Thank you, all!!

Was looking for a super light boot and WOW this is it! Feels like two slippers on my feet. Like feathers, great feeling. The boots were a little tight at first after a few hours they padding molded perfectly. I have wide feet and wear a size 13, they fit like a glove. Boa super is great too, I go snowboarding after work and it saves me 10 minutes instead of lacing. Do recommend after your first few runs you turn the boa system to get it just a little more tight. Will buy again 5/5 stars!
