Hot Dawgz & Handrails
A full parking lot at the base of Big Bear with temps in the 70's could only mean one thing. Hot Dawgz & Handrails. We all know the park crew at Bear does it right, but pulling out all the stops with two separate lines which included a c-kink, 30 foot marble down ledge, a c rail, wall ride and a couple huge pyramid boxes. Riders came from all over, including our own rookies Brandon Cocard, Dylan Alito and Chris Brewster. But at the end of the day, Scotty Vine was feeling the love from the judges and edged out first place. JP, Simon and Joe were among the all star judges' panel.
Stickers for everyone!
We were there, of course partnered with etnies, handing out a few thousand stickers to eager youngsters determined to have the sponsor binder arrangement on lock for Monday morning's class. The night brought the Bear Mountain premiere of the 32/Stepchild movie This Video Sucks. With a full deck of people and about 50 free copies handed out throughout the movie, I'd say it was another epic day up at Big Bear. As we all know, the after parties are where things tend to get a little crazy but you know what they say, what happens in Bear....is all over the internet the next day!
