Winter is slowly coming to an end and with each and every last storm rolling through the USofA, I dream of powder days.

I got a text from my good friends that run the Brighton Terrain park, that it had been snowing all day and wasn’t going to end until the next day, some text messages claiming that this was the biggest dump of the year. Expecting 40 plus inches of white champagne powder, I quickly booked my flight from Southern California to Salt Lake City, Utah, without a hesitation.

Thursday morning we headed straight to Brighton... still snowing and with over 30 some inches of snow. Possying up with a crew of dudes from the park staff and a couple special guests, Jared Winkler, Tonino Copene (Nitro team manager) and the one and only Jake Welch. Riding with these dudes definitely kept me on my toes. I’ve never witnessed such a slaughtering of cliffs in my life, small, big, over trees, around trees and cliffs called the wall. All I have to say is NUTS. After a long day, I even took a break and changed up my kit, testing some new boots and outerwear, Chad Joyce (AKA, Mouse, AKA, Chip) and I headed out for a little night session which lasted until 7:30pm. Powder at night, if you haven’t experienced it, get to it.
