Last week brought the Australian Open and the locals favorite day of the year, Pub 2 Pub. Think of it as Halloween meets Saint Patty's Day. The open brought a ton of internationals, none of whom had any interest in talking to me—except Keir Dillon whose iPod died so I let em borrow mine for his last two runs. +5 cool points for me! Booooyyyaaaa. Local 32 ripper Erin Tanner squeezed out a 4th place finish in the Women's Halfpipe... once again making me realize I was just a sex change away from being a major contender in women's snowboarding.

Slopestyle was cool to watch... a whole lotta 7's, 9's and 1080's. By the third day, though, it lost its appeal. I got two weeks left of spring riding. The slush is getting deep—spring surf style. Goggle tan is at a 7. My body is absolutely destroyed from riding all but 3 days since I've been here.
