March 31 - Mammoth Mountain, CA
It's snowing! Yes, it snowed all day on March 30th at Mammoth, and on the 31st we woke up to this...
Yes, about 10 inches of wind blown goodness. We ended up riding Face Lift to Stump Alley... super fun and the wind was blowing so every time you'd come back up the lift, your tracks were covered.
Then 23 opened and the back side, as you can see in the photos we had a good time.
The Chicken Jam was also going on that weekend, so we got to see the Silversun Pickups play for free in the village and due to the weather the slopestyle contest got postponed until Monday. You can see the course in the photos.
Main park, South park, the Nagano pipe and the whole mtn was awesome. With that much snow, I sure hope they stay open until July 4th.
Over and out, we're off to Tahoe!
