Resort Update!
ThirtyTwo's Brian Cook is out doing a little "research". His mission: to hit the resorts and report back on the good, the bad and the ugly. First stop is June Mountain, CA. Read on for Cook's review.
March 29th - June Mtn, CA
I'm off on vacation but that doesn't mean I'm not out snowboarding.
First resort on the list was June Mtn, which is located about 30 minutes from Mammoth Mtn. Sunny skies and warmer temperatures made for a fun day of riding the park. The halfpipe was cut to perfection so sorry no photos; it was way too much fun to stop and click away. The runs are 100% covered, no one's around and the main park is super fun. Big kickers, small kickers, bunch of rail lines, beginner park and, like I said, one of the best pipes I've ridden this year. June Mtn. gets two thumbs up.
Also, if you check the photos you can see some pretty crazy features being made for Snowboarder's Miss Super Park. I guess that's going down April 1 - 3rd. Check Snowboarder for that story.
