4 years agoWell, I don't know were gigga(and the other haters) gets his info from but the footage in the video is from 06/07....= LAST SEASON, and not from some old, washed up guy trying to get paid for what he's done in the past!!! 4 years agoIt sure is sad to see where snowboarding has gone. Ive known JP for a long time and hes always been a really genuine good person. Though we both started snowboarding in different places im pretty sure when we started the vibe was the same, as it was for most of you when you started. You did it because it was fun. The first time you landed a rail or your first big pow day im pretty sure most of us didnt look at the guy next to us in the lift line after that first sick run and say what a fag he was cause he had certain gear on. Its just my opinion but it seems as the masses have been atrackted to the sport so have some unwanted ideals. Are we really so jaded with snowboarding that our time and effort just drifts towards finding faults in fellow snowboarders for doing what they love? I understand arguements about selling out and so on and those could be argued til theres no more snow. But so many of these comments seem to just be grasping so hard for any reason to spout something negative. I guess you gotta do what ever you can to be core these days. Anyway, this washed up rider would like to say that it was a pleasure to ride with you in the past jp and its always fun seeing what you drop next. Thanks for all youve brought the sport. JB

4 years agowow, never thought i'd see the day when so many people would turn on on of the god fathers of our sport. if any of you fuck heads who are dissing on JP hd half his talent or style then he might care about what you have to say. and to think for one second that he isn't still on the forefront of the snowboarding progression is laughable. did you not see the wall to wall backflip? or the mctwist on an urban wall ride? i don't see any of the "new meat" of snowboarding doing anything like that. the only reason that JP hasn't turned out as much footage these past years is cause he has been saving the world from nuclear holocost and pulling the elderly out of burning buildings, but in his spare time he still manages to set new standards in snowboarding. so fuck you if you think he is washed up cause he'll still be ripping and changing the sport after all you pussies are dead

4 years agoamazing how ignorant some people are. ask around the mountians, his rep speaks for itself: fully dedicated, nicest guy in the biz, took time off to help someone close to him, always in performance shape,never does anything that would negatively affect performance....on and on. he surfs when there is no snow, not in place of boarding. wish i could live that life!
