Hot Dawgs and Hand Rails at Bear Mountain
Hot Dawgs and Handrails, Bear Mountain's annual kick off event went down this past Saturday, September 15th.

Thanks to mother nature everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather - except for the huge forest fire burning down the other side of the valley. It was crazy to be at a snowboarding event and in the middle of a forest fire at the same time. Luckily we walked away unscathed from the rails, fire, and the hot dawgs. With more people than ever attending the event the crowd seemed to feed upon itself, turning into crazed hot dog eating lunatics. It was quite the event. Until next year. Check out some of the picks...

Not even the massive forest fire could keep the kids from the free hot dogs and massive amounts of bone shattering entertainment.

Big Bear was throwing out the big money and kids were throwing down some technical wizardry. Leading to some big pay days for a couple of well deserving rippers.

Every good blog should have an action shot, right? For what the riders had to deal with they were killing it. Congrats goes out to all the riders and to Bear Mountain for once again putting on one of the best pre-season events of the year.
