Mt. Hood - It's Summer Camp Time!
Sunday July 1, 2007.

The Mt. Hood Summer Camp sessions are in full swing and the ThirtyTwo crew is representing. Our Northern California rep. Eric Wallis and I headed up to check out HCSC and Windells, two of the premiere camps at Mt. Hood -- the only camps at Hood. Anyway, both have great on-and-off snow facilities with plenty of snowboarding and skateboarding going down.

We stopped by Windells first and went right into the demo center where they had all the top-of-the-line ThirtyTwo boots available for snow testing. From what we heard, the Ultralight was a huge hit! After that we headed to the B.O.B, don't know what B.O.B stands for, but it's more or less an indoor funhouse. They have mini-ramps to skate, trampolines, foam pits, basketball and a super fun street course. We were like kids in a candy shop, skating around and trying everything. Check the photos of Eric going into the foam pit and the tramp to foam pit. Good times!

The next day we headed up to Mt Hood. The day was sunny and about 65 degrees, couldn't ask for anything better. Both Windells and HCSC had great parks, so we put in lots of riding and ended up doing laps on the Palmer lift, where we hit a couple little jumps, some rails, half pipe and then a HUGE hip that HCSC had set up. Then down to the lift to do it again.

This hip was giant! We promise!

Can't wait to go back!
