Through the Adopt-A-Highway program, ThirtyTwo has committed to rehab a two-mile section of Highway 395 between its Southern California headquarters and Mammoth Mountain. Litter on the adopted stretch, which falls between mile marker 41 and 42, will be picked up on a regular basis. The brand’s first clean-up day was on November 8, as they made their way up to opening day at Mammoth.

“As a brand based on enjoying the snow, ThirtyTwo is committed to taking steps to give back to the environment,” said Brian Cook, ThirtyTwo Brand Marketing Manager. “Highway 395 is the road we take to Mammoth, and this year, the ThirtyTwo crew decided it was time to rehab it by cleaning it up and keeping it clean. This is just one of many steps we're taking to give back.”

Since the Adopt-A-Highway program began in 1989, more than 120,000 Californians have done their part to keep over 15,000 shoulder-miles of roadside clean. In addition to the aesthetic benefits of cleaner and more beautiful roadsides, litter removal helps to prevent potential pollutants from entering California’s waterways.
