Brrr! ThirtyTwo Gets Chile! Day 4
Our snowmobile guide, Christian Wehrhahm, arrived at about 7:30 a.m. and picked up the ThirtyTwo guys in his seriously pimping truck. No joke, this thing carries four snowmobiles on a mechanical bed that lifts up (with two sleds on top and two underneath), a crew cab that can seat seven people no problem, not to mention a bumping sound system!
So, the filmers, photographers and riders all headed out to an area called Cecpo, with huge chutes, cliffs and powder fields, right down a huge valley from Valle Nevado. They thought the snow might be better there, but it was still very windblown and crusty on top. In some places, the crew could break on through to the chewy center, but it wasn't really the epic day we were looking for.
