Brrr! ThirtyTwo Gets Chile! Day 3

Today started off a little differently, as the ThirtyTwo boys and I headed down to Santiago for a day with Adrenaline Distribution to check out some shops. That's not quite as much fun as shredding, but someone has to do it. Our snowmobile guide, Christian, got stuck in the South of Chile, so he couldn't make it to Valle Nevado, but our gang headed out on the hill anyway. Before going snowboarding, they shot some photos at the cabin for the ThirtyTwo 2006-2007 catalog. "No make-up, please," was the most frequently heard request of the day.

On the hill, the gang proceeded to look around to find something to have some fun on. The snow wasn't that good, so they made the best of what they had. First up was a cliff drop with a lip on top. The boys proceeded to throw down, as Benji Ritchie popped a big method, John Jackson twirled a frontside 360 and Eric Jackson offered a switch backside 180 while Stian Solberg checked his style. Next up was a double line with a hip to rope Ollie, which was fun for everyone. Some serious slashing went down, bro, as well as some fun roller Ollies, but nothing too crazy. Then we headed home for some beers, which did get kind of crazy! (Not really.)

gotta say it again. chile would be much better with a pair of solid boots, maybe even, dare i say it, burtons.

    oh yeah, said it.

solid boots? wtf!!! burton sucks! 32s the only way to go

  4. sanchez 1 year ago

burton does suck. but so do boots that the soles fall off after one use and no customer service, as is the case with 32. used burton as a device to illustrate how crappy 32 really is -- compare them to the bad and they become the worst.

yeah, i have had probs with the soles coming apart pretty easy on the boots, but they have been awesome with warranties, they send me the next years model brand new and all i have to do is send in the old ones. i dunno i just love how 32 boots feel, so far, the customer service has been awesome, and i cant complain at all. i still say 32 is THE ONLY WAY TO GO!

really, i haven't been able to get them to respond to my emails other than to say that they will let me know. then i wait a month and nothing. when i email again the guy tells me that this is the first he has heard of it. gonna be costly shipping the boots back to the states from chile as well. i still think that this shouldn't be an issue. they should last longer than a week.

  7. ben 1 year ago

hmm, a week!?!? theyve always lasted me at least a month and i ride pretty hard, and hike a lot... but yeah i didnt email them i called up noel paris, just call 32 (1-949-900-2985)and they give u the list like press 1 for this 2 for that... and press the warranty one, and leave a message and he'll get back to u. and shipping... it cant b more than like at the very most 30, and ur getting a new pair, possibly the next years model

yeah, thanks. i've been finally getting replies to email from noel. yeah a week on the left boot and only one session on the right. even a month is not long enough for a pair of boots. probably will sell the new pair to cut the losses and try out something else.
