Happy Campers!

ThirtyTwo team rider Leanne Pelosi just finished getting her camp on. Being the busy bee that she is, Plo really enjoyed taking time out for the last hoorah with fellow campers and friends at Northstar at Tahoe and Lake Louise in Canada.

The 2006-07 MGT Snowboard Camp Winter season wrapped-up this past weekend at Northstar at Tahoe. This first MGT camp outside of Canada was a success, with 20 girls participating. We saw a huge progression in the girls, with some of them pulling styley Japan grab 540s, switch back 360s, and one of them almost landed a 900 off the big jump! The next wave of pro shredders are nipping at our heels! Almost half of them followed up with inquiries about MGT's Summer snowboard camp, too, as well as pre-registration for next year's events.

Big-ups to the Northstar terrain park crew for the awesome park maintenance and for placing sponsor banners in the most amazing spots each day. This park gets tons of traffic! Special thanks also to Janet Mourning and Justin Miller of Northstar for making our American invasion nice and smooth.

The Lake Louise camp in Canada preceded the Northstar event, and it was once again big, with 39 girls coming from all over Alberta and as far away as Ontario to participate! Thanks to Mike Corner, Rebeckah Hornung and Jenn Dykstra for helping us out year after year.

Summer Snowboard Camp Update
MGT Snowboard Camp has partnered with Camp of Champions for the 2006 Summer snowboard camp season to create the MGT Girls Session! This unique session will begin on July 6 (Camp D only) and will feature MGT coaches, an all-girl contest and special MGT-only after-camp activities. This partnership has allowed MGT to give our campers access to the best and biggest summer snowboard terrain in North America. See you there!
