Janna Meyen Fourpeats at Winter X Games!

ThirtyTwo team rider Janna Meyen took gold in the X Games Women’s Slopestyle event, making history as the first X Games competitor to win an event four years in a row! On Friday in the qualifiers, Janna stomped huge Cab 540s and Frontside 720s with confidence, qualifying 13 points higher than her closest competition.
To everyone’s surprise, Janna knuckled a 540 on the first hit during her first run in the Finals on Saturday, putting her in last place. Janna took a deep breath before dropping in on her flawless second run, sticking a switch boardslide down the flat/down box to railslide fakie, a Cab 720, a Cab 540, a backside 540, an air over X Games box and a backside 360.
"I don't feel like I broke any records, I just feel like I had a good day on the snow. Making history is making history," commented miss Meyen.
Congrats on making history, Janna!
