ThirtyTwo Europe Team Report, October 2005
Winter is coming closer. You can feel it. It’s getting dark earlier now, and the sky is grey most of the time. Well, at least central Europe looks like that, and the first glaciers are getting ready to start into a new season.
Hampus Mosesson already started the season in Australia and New Zealand. He went down under together with his Quiksilver fellows Freddy Austbo and Markku Koski. They had a good time, playing loads of golf, attending a photo shoot, skating and sightseeing. Just back in Sweden, Hampus packed up his stuff again and flew to the States. He’s gonna visit ThirtyTwo and enjoy the last bit of Summer in SoCal before Winter calls in Europe.
Jussi T. went to the States in September to visit friends and attend ASR and the Futureproof premiere in Newport Beach. After that, he went home to Finland for a day and then to Zürich for another premiere of Futureproof. From there, Jussi went to Munich, Germany the next day, stopped by Innsbruck at the Method Mag office for an interview and then headed back home to Finland. He spent just a day there again and then it was off to Norway for another Absinthe premiere.
In Oslo, Jussi hung out with Thomas Harstad, went surfing at a really rocky and scary spot with the Norwegians and had a pretty good time with the Vikings. Now, he’s waiting for his visa for the States so he can go film there during the winter and spend some time over the big pond. In the meantime, Jussi is working on some art stuff and the new Trulli Web site. See him in Absinthe’s Futureproof and Trulli Love, and cruise by the Method Mag Web site to check out his interview.

Mr. Party King, Thomas Harstad, is in Norway. He’s enjoying being home and hanging out with his friends. After all the premieres with the Storbis gang, he is trying to get some rest before he starts another season of filming with those crazy guys, and searching for the best snow in Europe and the States.

Our Spanish lady ripper, Cuca Aranda, just got back from her first trip to South America, where she rode non-stop and had a lot of fun. Conditions down there weren’t that great, but Cuca enjoyed the trip, nonetheless. Since she spent last season doing rehab and trying to get her back fixed, she really enjoyed being back on her board. Oh, and she celebrated her birthday on September 29. Congratulations, Cuca!
Chris Sörman should be a familiar name to those who check out our Web site regularly. He’s killing it! After his vacation in Turkey, he came to Zürich, Switzerland to enter the pre-qualification of the Freestyle.ch, and guess what? He won it! After a long party night in Zürich’s most famous Rohstofflager, he even fought his way on spot number five in the finals, and was super stoked about the fun weekend and the nice prize money he would take home to Sweden. Right now, Chris is in Sundsvall shooting rails. Watch out for this guy. You’ll hear more of him the coming season, for sure.
