Last night at the 7th Annual TransWorld SNOWboarding Awards in San Diego, ThirtyTwo team rider Leanne Pelosi won the Rider of the Year and Readers' Choice awards, which just so happened to be her second Poll award in two years. At ThirtyTwo, we believe winning once at the TransWorld Awards is a big deal, but three awards in two years, that’s huge!

“I’m stoked that Leanne won Rider of the Year. She had an incredible season last year, and all of her hard work paid off,” said Eddie Lee, ThirtyTwo Team Mangaer.

Leanne was on fire last season, winning a plethora of major rail jams, including: the Roxy Chicken Jam in Park City, Utah; Winter Gravity Games at Copper Mountain, Colorado; the U.S. Open at Stratton Mountain, Vermont; the McDonald's Rail Jam and the Ripzone Rail Jam in Whistler, British Columbia; the Vans Triple Crown in Breckenridge, Colorado; the Pipe to Pipe at Mt. Hood, Oregon; and SG Magazine's Queen of the Mountain at Mountain High, California. Leanne also has a featured part in Project Misschief, a full-length all-girls video due out this fall from Misschief Films.

Congrats, Leanne!
