boa system is problematic.
old school for life
having your boa system/wire screw up can mess up your whole day. laces are a lot more reliable and easy to find

I wont deny the BOA is simple , but its not the same as total adjustability all the way up and down the boot.

ok all the people who think old school it always sooo cool, its not. boa does loosen but you can get your boot tighter almost effortlessly but laces i admit you cant get as tight and they can come loose (rarely) so i would go with boa. because you can get a bettr fit because it tightens the whole boot up.

I love the laces, my last pair of boots had boa and they were a pain and would have spots that would be to tight but others too loose plus I love a stiff boot, got myself some tm-twos! Best boots ever!!! (in my opinion)
Team 2's are sick. That's what I ride. I tried some 32 Boa's at the Mammoth on snow demo and surprisingly, they were quite comfy, very supportive and they had ton's of steeze.
Traditional laces are the way to go. Not only do they allow you to adjust the tension of your boot in different spots, they don't fail like the boa system can and often does. More parts mean more problems. The boa system will go the way of the step in. Do you see any other types of athletic footwear using this technology?
i had a pair of vans boa and i have to say they were/are alittle far from par. the shit kept getting stuck and took 4 people to pull off. shit wasnt cool. id say boa is ur a lazy fat fuck but laces if u wanna ride with style. yeah.
