Mountain High and the Buck Off!

On Saturday, September 3 up in Wrightwood Forest in Southern California, Mountain High put on a Summer Rail Jam. Any snowboarder buying a season pass could butter down the hill and hit five different boxes. One of the craziest features was a pyramid box thing with a spinning top. What, a spinning top? Yeah, it was pretty funny. Some kids got to the top and spun a little, but no one really got it going.

Fun box.

A local shop called Powder & Sun helped out with the whole set-up and hyped-up the event. Also, these guys where selling all kinds of gear, including the brand new line of ThirtyTwo boots.

We also had a booth, and thanks to Becky and Bonner, we held it down by passing out ThirtyTwo magnets, stickers and posters. What great weather and a great start to the Fall 2005 season! Thanks to Chuck Allen at Mountain High and Powder & Sun for putting on a shredtastic slam fest. It was so swayze!

Was a fun event until I got hit in the head with a tent when the wind gusted. Those 32 magnets are hot stuff.
