Team Report 01-05-04
Dionne Delesalle is off to a great start despite all the stress he went through within the last couple of months. He's been slaughtering it out in the backcountry with his crew, filming and shooting photos. He reported that this year is one of the best early seasons so far with snow levels reaching over ten feet. Dionne's been out almost every day getting a couple of shots per day. What a way to start the New Year!
Markku Koski also started his New Year off with a bang! He took 1st place at the SB Jam in Davos, Switzerland on New Year's Eve and got his Ticket to Ride for the Arctic Challenge! It was televised all over Europe on various networks. Congratulations, Markku!
Nicolas Droz is pumped for the start of 2004. He's been filming and shooting photos every day with Absinth Films. He'll be joining the Sole Technology European Boot Camp scheduled to be held at Garmish in Germany from January 9-13. Immediately afterwards, Nico will be back at it again with his film posse.
John Jackson has been filming and shooting photos with Standard Films and reports he's off to a good start with footage. He’ll be spending the rest of the season filming with them along with competing in a few major events. John's also, on the waiting list for the X Games scheduled later this month in Aspen.
Tyler Lepore is also off to a good start this season. He's been heading out to the back country every day filming and shooting photos. Tyler's one step ahead of most of the other snowboarders since his roommate is a photographer. He'll be in Whistler all season long, and venturing out to a handful of events outside of Canada this year.
Joni Makinen will be meeting-up with some of the Sole Technology crew later this week for the European Boot Camp held at Garmish, Germany.
Janna Meyen plans on taking first place at the Session contest held in Vail, Colorado later this month. She's feeling pretty amped about the contest, since she was robbed of first place last year, so look out girls.
B-team rider Benji Ritchie recently got a full interview in the February issue of TransWorld Snowboarding magazine. Be sure to check it out, as Benji will be blowing your mind this year, if he hasn't already.
Roberta Rodger recently had one of her fans win her complete snowboard set-up in a recent contest. Roberta will be bouncing back and forth from Vancouver to Utah, where she will be shooting photos with various photographers.
Kevin Sansalone has been busy slaughtering it with Dionne and their film crew. Kevin's been pumped and super-motivated to get the job done this year. He will continue to film and pursue his film project, The Skids and anticipates another release later this year.
Wille Yli-Luoma made a few changes regarding who he will be filming for this year. He will spend most of his time filming for Mack Dawg productions. After a couple of years of filming for Robot Food, Wille decided to part ways and get back to his roots. He'll be bouncing back and forth from Europe to the States and competing in a handful of events throughout the season.

thanks,
rob
just bought a pair on tm twos and used the heatable liner to its potenial by cramming my size 12's into a 10 and it actually worked. no more overhang for me.where is the email section?
Tell your retailers - the season is NOT over - stock some more TM-2's in size 12....
Why cant i find these damn boots!!!
make your boots last more than 30 days. TM 1s are a disapointment. inner laces broke outer is torn, sole ripped. I know 3 others who had the same problem. Also my girl had the same problem with her Velas. Stick to making shoes its the only thing that you seem to accel at.
I've been loyal 32 boots for 4 years, but I think I bought my last pair! I've been disappointed for the last 3 seasons! The griffons were the best. The new boots are too soft. I have a hard time believing that Jana and Roberta are into boots that flex like they do. Response time is delayed and that makes the rider work harder to get into turns, scarey in the park b/c my ankle feels like it might twist or break...you know what I'm saying and I am sure I'm not the first one to say this. Go back to making quality boots please!!! I've been riding for 11 years so I know what I like, I know what I am talking about. I am an aggressive rider and there are other girls that feel the same. I'd rather have a good solid boot rather over a boot that doesn't smell. tell me what you think!

Hi, just bought a pair of tm 2. I used it on the slope once and in one of the boots, one part of the skin was peeling a little bit. This is not good for keeping out water. I can't find the customer service section!!! Please email me 32!!
